While the school summer holidays are now in full swing, for some returning to school and the cost of uniforms is weighing on their mind.
But that’s where the West Lothian School Bank can help.
It’s a volunteer-led group aiming to improve the lives of children in West Lothian experiencing financial hardship by providing them with a brand-new school uniform, as well as clothing and equipment required for the school day.
As part of its ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities, and for the second year in a row, Taylor Wimpey East Scotland has donated £250 to The School Bank.
West Lothian to help boost its efforts to provide new school uniforms for children returning to schools across West Lothian after the summer break.
Commenting on the support it has received from Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, Collette Moran, project manager for The School Bank West Lothian said: “Last year we kitted out over 500 children and we expect the demand for our service to be even higher this year.
"This donation from Taylor Wimpey East Scotland provides us with a welcome boost and we are delighted they contacted us with news of their donation.”
