Who is that diva? It’s Donatella Versace and she left the internet gooped and gagged on Tuesday after she shared a photo on Instagram where she looked like she’d had a really, really good night’s sleep.
The photo in question was posted by the 69-year-old as part of a carousel on Instagram after she attended the opening night gala for The Devil Wears Prada musical. She looks incredible. Her skin is glowing, her hair is flowing, and her eyes shine bright like a thousand suns.

As the pic was the second photo within the carousel, it took a little while for the masses to take notice. However, after Pop Crave posted it on X (formerly Twitter) the internet became transfixed. You see, recently there has been a lot of discourse surrounding female celebrities who appear to have aged backwards.
From Lindsay Lohan to Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera, a bunch of our beloved celebrities are looking fresher and more youthful than ever before. None of them have said anything, of course, but every plastic surgeon with a TikTok account is racing to speculate what work they’ve maybe or maybe not had done.
So when Donatella — who is almost 70 — popped up looking more youthful than I do, the internet went wild.
While 2024 does appear to be the year of celebrities getting quite immaculate work, it appears there is more at play here — photo editing.
In other photos from the event not posted by Miss Girl, Donatella looks equally as beautiful. However, she doesn’t look as airbrushed. She looks real.
While some people are giving the Italian fashion designer shit for her editing, I think it’s important to remember that none of this is done in a vacuum. From getting work done to editing photos for Instagram, women in the public eye are under an incredible amount of pressure to uphold beauty standards.
Edited or not, I think we can agree she looks hot.
