The trial of former DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson “struck a real blow” for sexual offence victims, a former judge who reviewed the system has said.

Former appeal court judge Sir John Gillen paid tribute to the “immense courage” of the victims in coming forward, adding he feels they “struck a real blow”.
