Former President Donald Trump has emerged as the projected winner in the recent caucuses held in Nevada and the US Virgin Islands. Trump secured an impressive victory, receiving over 95% of the vote in Nevada. However, he faced some resistance in the form of Nikki Haley, who chose to participate in the state's primary instead. Despite this, Trump's sweep of the delegates solidifies his position as a frontrunner in the race.
Addressing his supporters, Trump expressed his gratitude for their unwavering support and the record-breaking turnout in Nevada. He acknowledged the presence of notable figures such as Governor Joe Lamar and the new governor, Stacey Rosemary. Trump also thanked Michael McDonald, who has endured criticism but remains a steadfast supporter. He recognized the presence of esteemed guests, including Governor Kevin McCarthy, golfer Bryson DeChambeau, and Masters winner Patrick Reed.
