Donald Trump watches his Supreme Court picks vote against his tariffs. Then he compares their loyalty to Dems: ‘What can I do? I put them in’

President Trump is expressing significant frustration with his Supreme Court appointees, specifically Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, over their recent voting records. In an interview published Thursday, as reported by The Hill, the president openly questioned his decision to nominate these justices to the high court.

When asked if he regrets his nominations, the president was blunt. “Yeah. Yeah. What can I do? I put them in,” he told Time magazine. He noted that while the justices do vote in his favor at times, they simply vote against him too often for his liking. He framed the appointments as a lifetime opportunity he provided, which makes their judicial independence feel like a letdown from his perspective.
