President-elect Donald Trump announced on Thursday that North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum will be his pick for secretary of the US Department of the Interior. The announcement was made during a speech at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida.

During his speech, Trump expressed his enthusiasm for the future of energy and land management under Burgum's leadership. He highlighted the importance of the Department of the Interior and the significant impact it will have on the country.
