Donald Trump has revealed that Prince William told him that the King “is fighting very hard” against cancer during their meeting at the reopening of the Notre Dame.

The US president-elect said he had discussed the health of the monarch with the Prince of Wales as they met in Paris following the ceremonial reopening of the historic cathedral on Saturday.
