Donald Trump phone record ‘has seven hour gap’ on day of Capitol Hill riot

White House records show an unexplained gap of more than seven hours in the record of former President Donald Trump’s telephone calls on the day of the Capitol Hill riot, it has been reported.

Logs of calls handed over to the House of Representatives who are investigating the attack showed no calls made by Trump from 1.17 am to 6.54pm as his supporters stormed the Capitol on 6 January last year.
