Former President Donald Trump recently met with the Florida sheriff’s deputies who apprehended the suspect involved in an apparent assassination attempt against him. The encounter took place at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence, where he expressed his gratitude towards the law enforcement officers.
The suspect, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, was taken into custody by deputies from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office after attempting to flee Trump’s golf course. Routh now faces two gun-related charges in connection with the incident.
