President Donald Trump has ignited a wave of international condemnation after posting an artificial intelligence-generated video of himself playfully wrestling a tiger just hours after circulating authentic footage of a fatal animal attack in the United Kingdom.

The controversy erupted following the tragic death of 23-year-old former child actor William Chapman, who died on Saturday, 10 October 2026, after entering the enclosure of a rare Amur tiger named Altai at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster.
