Former President Donald Trump expressed interest in potentially giving Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk a role in a hypothetical Trump administration. During an interview on Monday, Trump praised Musk as a 'very smart guy' and stated that he would consider appointing him as an adviser or Cabinet member due to his brilliance.
Trump's comments came after Musk endorsed him last month on a platform owned by the tech mogul, following an incident where Trump was targeted for assassination. Musk had previously addressed speculation about his involvement in a Trump presidency, clarifying that there had been no discussions regarding a potential role for him in such a scenario.
