President Donald Trump faced questions at the White House on Friday after saying he was banning CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House, while offering little detail about how the restrictions would work.

Trump announced the move on Truth Social on 18 September, saying it was effective immediately and accusing the three organisations of repeatedly publishing what he called 'fake news.' He said other outlets could follow but did not identify them in the post.
