Certain clothing is relegated to certain seasons. Those ginormous puffer coats aren't exactly spring-friendly. You wouldn't sport a tank top in the middle of a blizzard, either. At least we hope you wouldn't. Then there's the winter staple, the turtleneck. Actually, the high-neck tops can work in other seasons. Yes, warm weather turtlenecks do exist.
Turtlenecks that fit into this category are the short-sleeve and even sleeveless versions. FYI: Occasionally you'll see them labeled as roll neck, but it's essentially the same thing. Just like their cold weather counterparts, these toppers are great for layering. Especially as we slowly inch toward spring. You can slip them on under everything from a cozy sweater to a lightweight jacket that you wear under a heavier, wool coat.
