'Don't know all the facts' - Clement responds to boos over Barron Rangers sub

Philippe Clement has responded to Rangers supporters after they voiced their frustration over Connor Barron being subbed off against Hearts.

The Ibrox midfielder was withdrawn in the second half with Rangers 1-0 up in the Scottish Premiership clash.

Clement played down the situation as he insisted he understands the fan feeling but stated it is necessary to protect the player to avoid injury.

"They don't know everything. Of course, I am very pleased with Connor and everything he is doing now in this game and in the games before he has been massive.

"But it is also managing players who are getting tired, who never played so many minutes in their career at this level so it's managing Connor also in this way.

"I think the fans will be less pleased if he gets an injury because he played too much or too long.

"I understand that fans don't know all the facts."
