A Dutch football expert has told TalkSPORT that Feyenoord manager Arne Slot will not move to Leeds United to replace Jesse Marsch despite being the bookies' favourite to do so.
The Dutchman has been linked with the role since Marsch was sacked on Monday afternoon and even addressed the rumours, claiming that he'd 'open the message' if Leeds were to contact him about the role.
However, Marcel van der Kraan claims that despite all his success in the Eredivisie, Slot will not be swapping the Feyenoord Stadium for Elland Road mid-season and that they should start looking in other directions.

"Arne Slot is probably the most exciting football manager I've seen in the last 10 years. He really, really gets a team going, plays the most attacking style you can even imagine, probably even more maniac than Pep Guardiola!
"I was at his game last night, with Feyenoord in the Dutch Cup, and they set a new record in Dutch football with 50 shots on goal! It was absolutely fantastic, he's only been at Feyenoord for one-and-a-half-years and if I was Leeds, I'd go for him, absolutely.
"But Leeds fans listening, please do not get excited. He's not coming! Maybe I've been quite blunt there, but he's only been at Feyenoord for a short time. He's top of the league for the first time in his career, he could win the league title, win the championship.
"He's still in the cup, it was a very exciting 4-4 game and they went through on penalties, he's still in Europe with Feyenoord, he reached the Europa League final last summer against Roma, got beaten by Jose Mourinho 1-0.
"He just has everything going for him and for him to just leave the job now, it would be very silly. I think if he wins the league, and does well in Europe, he could probably pick and choose from many clubs.
"Leeds are a great club, and Feyenoord have dealt with them before after selling Luis Sinisterra to them, and then Crysencio Summerville before that.
"And the Feyenoord president is very close to the chairman of Leeds United, and in the last two hours, the Feyenoord president wanted to end all the speculation so either Leeds throw a huge amount of money at everyone or they start looking elsewhere."
