Don't expect Cyberpunk 2 to be third-person or have flashy cutscenes, as lead dev explains "I value our uninterrupted immersion more"

Don't expect Cyberpunk 2 to suddenly feature elaborate cinematic cutscenes or shift into third-person, as creative director Igor Sarzyński prefers the immersion of first-person cutscenes.

Over on Bluesky, Sarzyński posts some screenshots from the development of the first game's Phantom Liberty expansion, saying "gotta admit setting up cutscenes in this game would be extremely pleasant (coz everything looks mindblowingly amazing) but in the end I value our uninterrupted immersion more."
