Domino's expecting a busy late night this Sunday

Domino’ pizza company is predicting orders to spike by over 50% at 10.45pm on Sunday, just before the Superbowl kicks-off. The game, could be one of the most popular in the UK as the fanbase grows to 13million fans.

1,071 Domino's stores will be taking orders until 11 pm, with 411 open for kick-off at 11.30pm and 231 still open until 1am to fuel Rihanna’s mid-game show. For those staying up for the entire game, 130 stores will be open until 3am, as the final whistle blows.

In 2022, order numbers on Superbowl Sunday increased by 34% between 10pm and 11pm and then 50% between 11pm and midnight. Last year, 6,500 pizzas were ordered in the 30 minutes before kick-off. Stores predict a similar number of orders this year, ahead of the ITVX's coverage starting at 10.45pm.

Domino’s Head of Sporting Snacks, Sam Wilson, said: “This Sunday will be stuffed full of drama, but whilst we love all things American, stores this side of the pond will be delivering pizzas to our homegrown fans, cheering every touchdown and interception. We can’t wait to see who takes home the silverware, and serve up some delicious, piping hot pizzas to make the game as tasty as ever.”
