Since being traded to the Miami Dolphins from the Kansas City Chiefs back in March, wide receiver Tyreek Hill has bought into the team’s message of supporting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Just over a week ago, when social media was set ablaze by a pass between the two, Hill came to the defense of his quarterback, posting a video of Tagovailoa’s better throws during workouts.
Monday, Hill posted a vlog on YouTube that highlighted his day at Quavo’s “Huncho Day” celebrity football game at the beginning of the month. Clips had already come out of Hill returning an interception for a touchdown against New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston.
After the game, he sat down and answered questions from Hall of Fame wideout Terrell Owens, including what can be expected of this season. Hill took that opportunity to talk about his quarterback.
“What a lot of people don’t know about Tua is he’s very competitive, he’s a very hard worker, and the guy can actually throw the ball better than a lot of people actually think,” Hill said.
Hill also mentioned that he wants to “bring a championship to South Beach.”
While Tagovailoa might not be on the same level as the 28-year-old’s former quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, Hill apparently still feels comfortable with Tagovailoa’s arm.
