The Miami Dolphins released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday, and wide receiver Tyreek Hill was a surprising non-participant, as he was listed with a hip injury.
Miami’s top wideout has left the last few games, including Sunday night’s matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.
On Thursday, Hill returned to practice, and he spoke to the media and explained why he was absent the day prior.
“I just wanted some attention because my mom wouldn’t talk to me yesterday, so I needed some attention from somebody,” Hill said. “I’m good though.”
Hill likes to have his fun with the media, so it’s not shocking that he wasn’t willing to talk about the injury.
Asked if he plans on playing on Sunday Hill said, “Yeah, baby. I’m good, baby.”
That’s great news, as the Dolphins have been dealing with a number of injuries to key players. However, it’s important to note that cornerback Xavien Howard told the media that he would play against the Eagles, but Miami held him out.
Just something to keep in mind, but hopefully Hill we be good to go.
