The Miami Dolphins entered Sunday’s game against the New York Jets without wide receiver Tyreek Hill, their top option.
Then, just four plays into the contest, Jaylen Waddle suffered an injury on a long catch that was called back due to a holding penalty. The wideout was holding his chest while being checked out by the medical staff.
He eventually walked off of the field and to the blue tent under his own power.
Without him, the Dolphins have to rely on Robbie Chosen, Cedrick Wilson Jr., Braxton Berrios, Chase Claypool and River Cracraft at the position.
UPDATE: Waddle has returned to action.
