Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel is known for his way with words, whether it’s what he says or leaves unsaid. The wry comment about his height in Germany. Darting away from the cameras in his Nike Air Forces. Well, add one more anecdote to his growing arsenal of millennial communication—even if it’s just a text.
On ESPN’s ManningCast on Monday night, Peyton Manning revealed a text he received from Miami’s coach earlier that week. Manning initially sent McDaniel a text asking if he could have a few minutes of his time to discuss the Dolphins-Titans game, which ManningCast was scheduled to cover.
McDaniel texted back an NSFW pumped-up answer, “Um f--- yes you’re f------ Payton manning bro.”
