The Miami Dolphins Friday afternoon battle with the New York Jets may have ended in a victory for Mike McDaniel’s team, but they also experienced a large loss.
On Saturday, McDaniel told the media that linebacker Jaelan Phillips, who left the game on a cart, did, in fact, suffer a torn Achilles during the contest.
The injury will cost the linebacker the remainder of this season and likely some of 2024.
With Phillips sidelined, the Dolphins will have to rely on a mix of defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah and linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel to fill the void.
