The Miami Dolphins have been doing their due diligence all season to keep tabs on the free agents available at positions that could pop up as needs if a player were to suffer an injury.
One name that the Dolphins had in for a visit on Wednesday should be familiar to most fans – defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh.
Suh, 36, played for Miami from 2015-17, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2016. He joined the Philadelphia Eagles for eight games last season, posting 10 tackles and a sack while playing 35% of the defensive snaps.
The Dolphins could always use the depth in the middle, but if they’re considering bringing the former first-round pick on, it may have to be on the practice squad at first.
However, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has reported that nothing is imminent.
For the #Dolphins and FA DT Ndamukong Suh, today was just a visit. Nothing imminent.
