Jalen Ramsey appeared at Dolphins practice Tuesday morning after he underwent knee surgery on Friday and fans in attendance welcomed him back with nothing but love. While on the field with help from some crutches, fans can be heard chanting “Jalen” in the background in a show of support for their injured star cornerback.
Ramsey was the acquisition of the offseason for Miami after the Rams traded him back in March, but unfortunately a meniscus injury suffered Thursday will likely sideline him for sizeable portion of the regular season. Coach Mike McDaniel told reporters that he Ramsey won’t be ready until midseason and he won’t be rushed back.

While fans were chanting for Ramsey, he was seen talking to coaches and was coaching the younger defensive backs during drills. McDaniel commended the six-time Pro Bowler for his attitude since the injury.
“The most amazing thing about the whole thing was the way Jalen responded,” McDaniel said Friday. “He spoke to the team yesterday and it really moved a lot of people.”
Last season, Ramsey played in 17 games for Los Angeles and tallied 88 tackles and four interceptions.
