The Miami Dolphins entered the weekend with one player out, one doubtful and seven questionable for their Week 17 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
So, on Saturday, Miami opted to use one of their practice squad elevations to bring up veteran linebacker Melvin Ingram to the active roster for the game.

Ingram, 34, had been unsigned until a few backs when he was brought back on Miami’s practice squad. He made his 2023 debut last week, playing 21 defensive snaps (32%). As he’s eased into the rotation, Ingram will probably continue floating around that 30% mark for now. This is his second elevation, so he’ll have one more remaining, which will likely be used next week against the Buffalo Bills.
