The Miami Dolphins have put a lot of time and effort into signing players to compete for snaps at defensive tackle during the team’s offseason program.
On Wednesday, Miami added another defensive lineman to the battle, as they signed former Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Neville Gallimore, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Gallimore, 27, was selected by the Cowboys in the third round of the 2020 NFL draft following a collegiate career at Oklahoma that included a Second-team All-Big 12 final season.
In four years with Dallas, Gallimore has appeared in 52 games, recording 90 tackles (11 for a loss), nine quarterback hits, four sacks and three passes defensed.
He’ll compete with the recently signed duo of Isaiah Mack and Daviyon Nixon as well as 2023 undrafted free agent Brandon Pili for snaps behind (and potentially alongside) Zach Sieler.
