The Miami Dolphins have retained their third free agent of the day after re-signing linebacker Duke Riley and wide receiver Preston Williams both to one-year deals.
Now, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Dolphins have re-signed linebacker Elandon Roberts to a one-year deal worth $3.25M.
Roberts, 27, has spent the last two seasons with Miami, recording 144 tackles, six quarterback hits, four passes defended, three forced fumbles, 2.5 sacks and one interception.
At this point, the Dolphins still have three linebackers in Brennan Scarlett, Vince Biegel and Sam Eguavoen who are still scheduled to hit the market when free agency opens Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.
