The Miami Dolphins lost cornerback Jalen Ramsey during the second training camp session of the year to a meniscus injury that would require surgery and months of rehabilitation.
Now, after being out for the rest of camp and the preseason, as well as the first seven games of the regular season, Ramsey is being activated from injured reserve.
The Dolphins traded a third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long to the Los Angeles Rams for the cornerback this offseason, and now, he’ll have the chance to pair with Xavien Howard for the first time.
To make room for Ramsey, Miami released cornerback Parry Nickerson, who had been playing a decent amount with all of the injuries at the position.
