Dolly Parton’s Walk of Fame star tributes removed after reports of vandalism

Dolly Parton 's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has undergone extensive repairs after reports that it was cracked and vandalized.
The Hollywood Historic Trust temporarily removed fan tributes to conduct the repairs, with the star scheduled to be polished by Friday.
The Queen of Country passed away at age 80 following a brief battle with cancer .
Parton was laid to rest next to her late husband of 60 years, Carl Dean, during a private family funeral in Nashville, Tennessee.
Family members, including her niece Lainey Parton, shared touching tributes following the private burial service.
