Dolly Parton sang Rocky Top at the Tennessee game after Peyton Manning escorted her out

Dolly Parton is one of the most beloved people on the planet, and the legendary country artist went back home to perform for all the folks at Neyland Stadium on Saturday.

While Parton is from just outside Knoxville, Tennessee, in Sevierville, all Vols fans claim Parton as one of their own as she is one of the defining figures to come from that region.

Parton entertained folks at the Tennessee and Georgia game by singing the Vols’ fight song “Rocky Top” after the first quarter, with fellow Tennessee legend Peyton Manning escorting her out for the performance.

With Smokey the mascot dancing to the side and the “Pride of the Southland” band playing along, there was quite literally no way to make this more of a perfect Tennessee moment.

Hey, even if you’re not a Tennessee fan in the slightest, you’ve got to love Parton sporting the orange and white and singing one of the great fight songs in college sports for her home team.

Vols fans will always love Parton, and it is clear that she’ll always be a Tennessee fan.

Check out some photos from her performance below.
