Dollar Weakness Sparks Short Covering in Sugar Futures

May NY world sugar #11 (SBK26) today is up +0.02 (+0.15%), and May London ICE white sugar #5 (SWK26) is up +5.80 (+1.41%).

Sugar prices recovered from 6-week lows today and turned higher after the dollar index ($DXY) tumbled to a 6-week low, which sparked short covering in sugar futures.
