Doireann Garrihy blasts nasty TikTok trolls as "next level d***s"

Doireann Garrihy has blasted vile trolls on TikTok, calling them “next level d***s”.

The 2FM star reacted to a troll who said they couldn’t stand the radio star, with Doireann telling them to “get off her page” on TikTok.

The abuse came after she uploaded her latest Laughs of your Life podcast with Taoiseach Michael Martin.

The troll, named imhappypeople90, said: “I can’t stand her,” with Doireann replying: “get off my page so hun”.

They then responded: “checked for mm (Michael Martin) as I like him but can’t stomach the utter tripe you spew so unfunny hun.”

A follower, jackmassey2003, rushed to Doireann’s defence saying: “Take a day off.”

Doireann screen shotted the interaction and shared it on her Instagram, saying: “What is the story with TikTok trolls being such next level d***s?! Like they do NOT hold back ever and that comment is mild.

“P.s. thanks Jack Massey.”

Doireann later posted the spat to her Instagram followers (Instagram/doireanngarrihy)

Doireann previously opened up about receiving mean comments and dealing with trolls online, saying: “I think it’s all about how you deal with it. You’re never going to erase all the hate, whether that’s on social media or in real life!

“There are going to be people who just don’t like you, it’s about accepting that and then moving on from it. And then it’s up to you to decide how you’re going to react to anything that may be vicious or hurtful and for me, my main method is just avoid at all costs. And I know there are forums out there that tear me apart and I point blank refuse to look at them!

“The way I see it is, it’s anonymous accounts, so if they can’t put their name to it, why would I give it weight? You know? I almost have more respect if someone DM’d me, with their full name and their job and their life is there, I almost go, god they must really hate me! They’re actually standing by the fact they hate me!”
