A dog who recently lost her sight is looking for a loving family to share their hearts and home with her. Pamela the five-year-old cocker spaniel is described by her foster parent as a "gorgeous lady with the special superpower of having no eyes".
She was rescued from a breeding farm by Friends of Animals Wales and despite everything she's been through, Pamela is "just the happiest little soul". A spokesperson for the charity told the Mirror : "Pamela was an ex-breeding dog who came to us with chronic dry eye, which had been neglected over a long period of time.

"Sadly, despite six months of intense treatment, we were unable to restore her sight so we made the decision to remove her eyes as she found the frequent administration of eye medication distressing.
"She is amazing and copes well with life. Pamela adores people and attention - she even loves the vets."
The spaniel, who is currently being fostered in Treharris, South Wales, has so much love to give and is just looking for a chance to share it.
"Having previously been used for breeding, toys were new to her, but now she absolutely loves them," the spokesperson continued.
"She loves a teddy bear and a ball and will carry one around with her whenever she can."
Due to her blindness, Pamela's lead is used more as a guidance tool to stop her from bumping into things, and she cannot be let off-lead to run freely.
Pamela can live with a tolerant dog and savvy older children, but cannot live with cats.
She is housetrained, enjoys travelling in the car and is happy in a crate, as well as not suffering from separation anxiety.
Her foster carer says she isn't vocal or destructive at all, and would need someone that is around during the daytime.
The good girl is also neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and comes with five weeks of free pet insurance.

Ty the 22-year-old OAP is described by the team as a "terrific older gentleman" and Dogs Trust Bridgend believe he is the oldest dog the charity has ever taken in.
As well as breaking records with his age, Ty is the first Staffordshire bull terrier Dalmatian cross the centre has cared for - and he has an unusual passion for classical music.
Assistant manager Melissa Cook said: "When he wants to chill out, Classic FM does the trick! He doesn't mind if it's Mozart or Mendelssohn, he's not choosy but he's definitely a classy canine."
