After spending time on the streets, this little lurcher is searching for a home where he can "lounge in a bed and play with his toys when no one is around".
Gillyweed, or Gilly for short, was taken in by Jerry Green Dog Rescue, in South Lincolnshire, as a stray - and is now ready to move in with new owners who can provide him with the attention he deserves.
The one-year-old has recently undergone surgery to treat his "poorly leg" - and has a blue cast on it to help him heal.
A spokeswoman said: "He was found as a stray so needs patient owners when it comes to settling back into a home environment. He may need some guidance with house training and general manners indoors.
"He is a quiet boy that loves living up to the typical lurcher lifestyle.

"He is still very young and at the moment and is undergoing some investigations with his leg. He is on limited exercise therefore will need lots of enrichment to keep my mind stimulated."
Gillyweed would prefer to live with children aged Key Stage 3 and above - but would need to be the only dog in the home due to his injury.
"He would benefit from socialising with dog friends once his leg is healed." the spokeswoman added.
"He would prefer his new owners to be around most of the time while he settles in. He should be fine being left up to two hours -this has the potential to be built up once he is used to his surroundings.
Jerry Green Dog Rescue has been working to transform the lives of abandoned and unwanted dogs for almost 60 years.
Founded by dog lover Jerry Green, the rescue centre opened its first site in North Lincolnshire in 1961.
Since then, another three sites have opened – one in South Yorkshire, East Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.
This enables the dogs to move around each site if they’re unable to secure their forever home at their initial placement.
A spokeswoman said: "All dogs deserve a good life and a safe, loving home. We exist to provide a safe place for homeless dogs and to find new loving places for them to live."
They stand by the motto: "Once a Jerry Green dog, always a Jerry Green dog."
