Any dog owner knows that they are amazing animals. But one Golden Retriever showed his amazing - of misguided - instincts when he went missing for nearly a month.
Cooper had been rescued from kennels and rehomed with new his owner. But, just hours after arriving and meeting his new 'sister', Molly, Cooper bolted from the car.
Spending 26 days on the run, he amazingly headed more than 40 miles - right back to his old stomping ground. The team at Lost Paws NI calculated that he walked more than 40 miles alone, through back woods and along main roads.
