Having watched all his playmates leave with their new owners, this poor pooch soon realised nobody wanted him.

Juice spent 10 long months at Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center, in Maryland, America, before anyone gave him a look in.

He would spend hours crying alone in his kennels - and started to "lose himself" from the stress of shelter life.
