A man has died after being knocked down by a red Nissan Micra while out walking his dog.
The incident happened at around 8.30pm on Monday, February 6 on Bartiebeith Road, with the 64-year-old dog owner sadly passing away at the scene.
The road was closed for around six hours while officers conducted their investigation and police are now appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch.

Anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the incident is also being asked to check their dash cam footage.
Sergeant Adnan Alam, of Glasgow Road Policing, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information regarding this incident to contact us.
“I would ask any motorists, particularly with dash cams who were in and around that area to check the footage as it may have captured images that could assist in our investigation.”
