A mum whose dog died after being startled by a firework wants to warn others ahead of Bonfire Night
Katherine Lucy Robinson was heartbroken after the death of her 22-month old rescue dog Lara-Beau on November 5 last year. Katherine, who lives in Little Sutton in Wirral, said that Lara-Beau had been "traumatised" by an unexpected bang and in a bid to find her, jumped from a “partially open” upstairs window and headed towards a busy motorway.
The rescue dog was found dead by a local woman after being hit by a car on the M53. With just three days until Bonfire Night, Katherine wants to share her story to help prevent further tragedies relating to fireworks.
