Dog owners offered 'job' paying £1,000 a month to go to the pub with their pet

Dog owners are being offered a chance to earn £1,000 a month to go to the pub with their pet - and get free food and drink.

Online retailer Fetch Club Shop is looking for a "Pooch Pub Pundit" to visit and review dog-friendly pubs and cafés across the UK. They will need to review a minimum of four a month and travel expenses will be covered.

The successful candidate, who will get a six-month contract, will be expected to provide a thorough review of each establishment, including the quality of doggy treats and water bowls, the friendliness of the staff, and designated space for four-legged friends. The firm says a sense of humour and writing ability is a must, as the successful applicant will be encouraged to write guides for the Fetch Club Shop blog, reports Wales Online.
