Doctors strike to go ahead despite super flu sweeping through London

Resident doctors will strike in the run-up to Christmas despite a strain of super-flu threatening to overwhelm hospitals.

The British Medical Association (BMA) confirmed on Monday that its members will down tools between 7am on December 17 and December 22 after rejecting a Government deal to call off the walk out.
