Doctor Who will return for an Easter special April 17 at 7:10pm with the Sea Devils as antagonists.
Fans of the time lord will be thrilled to hear the show is back for another of its annual specials. Jodie Whittaker, who has played the doctor for four years now, will be going face to face with old foe the Sea Devils.
The '70s monsters will be returning for the first time in decades and finding themselves clashing with pirates led by the real-life swashbuckler Madame Ching. This is the first of three specials to air this year.

Screenwriter Chris Chibnall revealed that Madame Ching's search for a treasure ship will uncover a terrifying evil. He said: "In our story, Madame Ching is on a mission to track down the lost treasure of the Flor de la Mar, a ship that may have been washed up in the waters around the area where we start the story. She unleashes a terrifying evil that The Doctor has to help everyone deal with."
This will be one of Jodie Whittaker's final specials as part of her farewell from the show. She has said she will be stepping down from the role as she only ever planned to do it for four years. Doctor Who's Easter special can be caught on BBC One at 7:10pm on April 17. Viewers can also watch it on catch-up with BBC iPlayer.
