Despite all of the talk surrounding Dobbs and his performances as a Viking, he is still fairly new to the team. So, he is still acclimating to the offense’s processes and procedures.
The last thing that he needs as he tries to get into a rhythm in this relatively new system is to be pressured on almost half of his dropbacks.
This is not to say that Dobbs can’t do well with pressure. If anything, Dobbs’ ability to make a play despite the pressure is one of his best attributes.
Despite the pressure, Dobbs is 11-of-13 for 126 yards and one touchdown, for a 132.7 quarterback rating in the first half.
With the pressure he’s felt having to fill in for Kirk Cousins and the pressure he’s seeing on the field, Dobbs continues to impress the football world with his resiliency.
The same resiliency that defines this Minnesota team, as they search for their sixth-straight win.
