Manchester City fans were pleading for Bernardo Silva to stay at the Etihad after Jack Grealish sent a three-word message to his Portuguese teammate.
Silva's future at City is the subject of speculation again this summer, with the 28-year-old making no secret of his desire to explore other challenges. As recently as two weeks ago, the midfielder admitted he did not know what his future held and refused to speak in depth about his plans.
Saturday marked six years to the day since Silva joined City from Monaco, and the club's official Twitter account posted a short video of his brace against Real Madrid last season to commemorate the occasion.
Grealish replied to the post, tweeting: "What a man" followed by a blue heart emoji.

Multiple City supporters then responded to Grealish's tweet, begging the Blues forward to work his magic in a bid to keep Silva at the club beyond this summer.
Silva is thought to have attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, with the latter having already signed Ilkay Gundogan on a free following the expiration of his contract at City. The Portugal international has also reportedly received an offer from Saudi Arabia.
