'Do you think poor people run this country?': Madhuri Grover sparks fresh rich vs poor row after 'have more children' controversy

Just days after defending her controversial remarks on childbirth, Madhuri Jain Grover has once again found herself at the centre of a social media storm—this time over her views on who really runs the country.

Speaking on the podcast Shut Up With Tejasswi , the former Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa contestant argued that wealthy people, not the poor, are the ones driving the country.

"Wealthy people are the ones running the country. Who else is running it? Who is giving jobs to everyone else?" Madhuri said during the conversation.

When host Tejasswi pointed out that poor people also contribute to running the country, Madhuri disagreed.

"It's good if poor people help. But do you really think all poor people are running the country? Do you seriously believe that poor people are the ones running the country? No," she said.
