Battlefield 6 will require an active PlayStation Plus subscription for all of its online multiplayer modes. This includes popular game modes such as Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, King of the Hill, Domination, and Payload. The subscription is necessary for players who want to experience the full-scale online warfare and dynamic team-based combat that the series is known for.
Those who prefer to go solo won’t need a PS Plus subscription for offline experiences. The single-player campaign and training modes featuring AI-controlled bots are fully accessible without an active membership. According to the game’s official FAQ, an internet connection is still required to download essential updates, but the subscription rule applies strictly to online multiplayer gameplay.
