Do you love them or hate them? These sparkly UGGs are in the Amazon spring sale

UGGs have had it rough.

When Justin Bieber publicly revoked the divisive boot back in the 2010s, so did his gargantuan fanbase. The boots have also been slandered by Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan, who was gifted a pair by actress Emily Blunt following his criticism of her slouchy shoewear on the set of Oppenheimer.

Yet for all the UGG enthusiasts out there, never fear. The shoes have been famously sported by the best in business - Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Kate Moss and Emily Ratajkowski, to name a few. Redemption at its finest.

However, UGG has just upped its game. The Australian brand has treated its ardent followers to a springtime treat: sequins - and it just so happens that the very same pair of UGG iridescent slippers star in Amazon’s latest sale. So you can shop the statement shoes with nearly 30 per cent off the RRP. Ka-ching.

ES Best style icon Alexa Chung may have expressed disdain for sparkly renditions via Twitter in 2012, yet we can’t help but covet the camp kicks. They are the perfect relic of 2010s style. A design to be worn with a tinge of irony, these glittery creps are bound to turn heads and spark conversation.

Plus, divisive shoes are all the rage right now. Consider Crocs, which were adopted by the design team at Balenciaga and sent down stomping down the runway. Or befurred yeti boots which featured heavily during London Fashion Week. The limit does not exist.

Shop UGGs sassy sequin slippers and infuse your wardrobe with some Noughties nostalgia.
