Do the fans of the Boston Celtics expect too much from the team? On one hand, they want the ball club to win every game they can in the 2022-23 regular season. But on the other, they also want the team to be as ready and healthy as is possible heading into the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
These goals can be balanced against one another, but are inherently also at odds with each other. Celtics fans seem to want to have their proverbial cake and to eat it too. Putting aside how that saying doesn’t actually make much sense when you really think about it, the meaning behind it is an important thing for fans to consider given recent road bumps in the Celtics’ play.
