Any Revolut customers who have not yet applied for a new card will need to jump on it fast as services were due to be cut off for ‘Legacy’ cardholders on Sunday, May 29.
If you haven’t clicked into the app in a while, or checked marketing emails from the online banking service, you may have missed multiple warnings.
Anyone who has yet to request a standard card may notice that they currently cannot use it for certain services due to impending changes.
If you click into the app, and look at the ‘cards’ section, you will see a notification if you need to further upgrade before your services can resume.
In a recent email, the company said: "We got in touch not long ago to let you know we've made some changes to improve your card payment experience.
"We want you to benefit from these changes, so don't forget to order your free replacement debit card."
It added that existing cards will continue to work until May 29 in Ireland and that it would be issuing a warning before they stop working.
"Your Revolut account and any other Revolut cards you have will still work as normal," it said.
"Order your free replacement cards and we'll deliver them to an address that suits you in any of the 150+ countries we deliver to.
“Track your delivery in app and remember to add your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay to start using it straight away."
However, if a customer did not receive a communication from Revolut, there is no need to order a new card or take any action.
