NFL players are just like us – sometimes they have to go to bathroom while they’re at work. Crazy, right?
We were reminded of that on Sunday when Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf was carted off the field in Detroit. At first fans were wondering what the heck happened to Metcalf, who seemed to be OK while playing in the game.
Well, thanks to Fox sideline reporter Jen Hale, viewers quickly found out that Metcalf was carted off the field for a… quick bathroom break. I’m serious, he just had to go to the bathroom.

It seems like he made the right call because the bathrooms in Detroit are far from the sidelines:
As one NFL staffer passed along, the distance from the visitors' sideline to the visitors' locker room at Ford Field is very likely the longest such trek in the league.
