Djed Spence said he will "hopefully" be at Nottingham Forest next season.
Spence, 21, starred in the Reds' 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town at Wembley as Steve Cooper's side won promotion back into the Premier League.
The talented full-back has spent most of the 2021/22 season with Forest after joining the Reds back in September 2021 from Middlesbrough on-loan.

Spence, 21, has contributed three goals and five assists in all competitions this season and has reportedly won interest from Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich and many more clubs.
Spence's contract is up for renewal at his parent club Middlesbrough next year, but is unlikely to remain at the Riverside beyond the summer.
"[This club] means everything to me," Spence told NottinghamshireLive. "I've come here and the fans and gaffer have both taken me in.
"We lose together and win together. We're going up together. This means everything to me."
When asked whether he would like to stay at the City Ground, Spence said: "I would love to stay, but it's not in my hands. We'll see what the future holds."
When optimistically asked if Forest fans would see him in the Garibaldi again next season, he gave a simple one-word response: "Hopefully."
Reports earlier this year claimed Boro will demand a club record fee of £20million for Spence, a price which would only be in reach for top-flight clubs. Spence was sent out on loan by current Middlesbrough boss Chris Wilder’s predecessor, Neil Warnock. However, in a surprise to many, Wilder opted not to recall Spence in January.
